Privacy Policy
Karta is built to respect your privacy and to collect as little as possible. Your readings and reflections stay on your device, and the credits wallet runs from a randomly generated identifier with no sign-up.
Information We Collect
We keep this to the minimum needed to run the credits feature. On our server we store:
- A randomly generated guest identifier, created on first launch, that holds your credit balance without any sign-up.
- Your credit balance and records of credits purchased and spent.
- Purchase confirmation data (a Google Play receipt) used to verify a transaction and grant credits.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to operate and secure the service.
We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a password.
Data Stored On Your Device
Your card draws, sealed responses, echoes, draft reflections, and collection progress are saved locally in private app storage so the app can show your history. Your guest identifier and last known credit balance are also cached on the device so the app works instantly on launch.
Your readings and reflections stay on your device — they are not uploaded to us or to any third party.
Payments And Purchases
Credits are sold as in-app purchases processed by Google Play. Google handles the payment — we never receive or store your card number or payment details. When you buy credits, Google provides a purchase confirmation that our server verifies before adding credits to your balance.
Your purchases are also subject to Google Play’s own terms and privacy policy.
What We Do Not Do
We do not show advertising. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs to profile you. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos. Beyond the identifier, purchase records, and technical data described above, we do not gather personal information such as your name, contacts, or location.
Permissions
The app uses internet access to sync your credit balance and verify in-app purchases through Google Play billing. It requests no sensitive permissions.
Entertainment And Reflection Only
Karta is intended for entertainment, personal reflection, and private journaling only. It does not provide psychic readings, fortune telling, predictions, therapy, medical advice, financial advice, legal advice, or other professional guidance.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The guest identifier is a random value that is not tied to a real-world identity.
Deleting Your Data
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling removes the draws, reflections, guest identifier, and cached balance from your device.
Your credit balance and purchase records are kept on our server under an anonymous guest identity. To delete them, email us at feedback@auroralife.co. We keep only the minimum transaction records required for tax or legal compliance, and Google Play keeps its own purchase records.
Changes To This Policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update the text here and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
